Now is your chance to join the staff of Acupunture & Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley, as the Admissions Director. In this role you will oversee all aspects of recruitment and admission of new students to the college. You will be responsible for outreach and marketing for the educational programs via electronic, print, and in-person interactions.
Skills required: Bachelors degree
Minimum of 3 years experience working with the public in a lead customer service role or supervisory role. Program admissions background is prefered.
Prefer experience in higher education, working directly with students
Familiarity with acupuncture is highly desireable.
Other skills
Ability to communicate effectively with prospective students of diverse cultural and econominc backgrounds, as well as with colleagues within college administration
Ability to oversee and manage projects effectively, strong teamwork skills
Knowledge and experience with data entry, Microsoft Office, other relevant computer programs
This is a full time position with salary and benefits. We would consider a job-share arrangement between two experienced acupuncturists or admissions directors.

Compensation: $18-20 per hour plus health benefits, paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays
Oversee daily functions of the registrar position, including the maintenance and integrity of student records and California Acupuncture Board reporting. Duties include grade input, audits, FERPA records release, and degree verifications. Requires strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills in a culturally diverse environment. Work collaboratively with departments to ensure high level of service relating to students.
Requirements: Minimum of 3 years experience as a college registrar. Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Experience in Financial Aid and/or Bursar procedures desired. GradPro or other collegiate tracking software preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
