Acupuncture School Master's Program
The basic science requirements (BSR) include a total of 14+ units in the following subjects: biology (3–5 units), chemistry (3–5 units), psychology (3 units), and physics (3 units); biology and chemistry must meet a combined total of eight (8) units. You must complete the chemistry, biology, and psychology components within the first calendar year of your master's program, and the physics component by the end of the second calendar year. You may complete your basic science requirement (BSR) courses by a combination of three methods: transferring in your completed units, using the Progressive Start Option; or completing BSR courses simultaneously with the Standard Program timetable. We recommend that you complete these courses prior to beginning any full-load schedule in our Standard Program.
