Six-Month Japanese Facial Acupuncture Training in Four Days!
Yoko Oasa, esteemed acupuncturist and Dean of Acupuncture & Moxibustion at Shikoku Medical College, will present a four-day intensive training in a style of Japanese facial acupuncture that incorporates whole-body meridian therapy and formalized moxibustion technique. Yoko’s facial acupuncture technique utilizes ultra-thin saline needles and emphasizes a gentle aesthetic that eliminates discomfort and bruising.
One Day Intensive Meridian Therapy Workshop!
Akizo Okada, Chairman of the Meridian Therapy Association and one of the most famous practitioners in Japanese acupuncture world, will present a special lecture on Meridian Therapy, which is one of the most well-known forms of Japanese acupuncture outside of Japan and one of the major approaches within Japan.
Incredible Accommodations
While attending Shikoku Medical College, comfortable suite accommodations will be made for AIMC Berkeley faculty and students in a converted hotel near the college for no extra cost. Students will stay three to a room. Overflow accommodations will be made at an affordable business hotel within walking distance.
All participants are responsible for choosing flights and purchasing their own airline tickets. There is a great deal of variation in the costs for flights. For example, a direct flight from SFO to Osaka currently costs approximately $1585; a flight with a stop-over in Tokyo costs approximately $1320; a flight through Shanghai or Beijing costs approximately $1100.
Participants will meet as Osaka Airport on April 17 to leave for Kagawa. Intensive study at Shikoku Medical College will take place April 18 – 22.
